I'm removing this partly incorrect statement in my original bug report:
- euca-register requires setting $EC2_ACCESS_KEY and $EC2_SECRET_KEY
instead of also checking $AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID and
$AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY_ID as ec2-register does.
euca2ools is based on the access key and secret key, while
I'm removing this partly incorrect statement in my original bug report:
