Same issue here on Ubuntu 13.04.
To be honest, I don't think I've ever seen tags correctly written in Brasero on
any version of Ubuntu I've used.

Is your disk drive Writable. On most new computers (2006+) it should
have this. On older ones this features is not installed by default and
requires a new disk drive.

Yes, the drive is writable. I forgot to mention that the audio is still
there; it is only the tags that are missing.

I should also mention that I have had success with writing tags in other
applications, namely GnomeBaker. It is only in Brasero that the problem
occurs.
