This was due to debian-installer-utils and base-installer getting out of sync, so grub-pc was being installed too early. I've uploaded a merge of base-installer 1.103, which should clear this up. ** Package changed: grub2 (Ubuntu) = base-installer (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: base-installer (Ubuntu)
