I disagree with the last comment. Whereas Flash might behave in
arbitrarily bad way, it should not take down Firefox with it. It is
Firefox's obligation to sanitize all the input it gets including the
output of the external programs called plugins.

IMVHO, this is a problem with your .gtkrc. Please delete it and report
back (or even better, rename it to make sure you don't lose any settings
you might want :-).
Please don't file bugs about Firefox crashing if you have Flash
installed. You are installing flash at your own risk and there's
as for the strange errors messages, they disappeared when i disabled
Use of my KDE style in GTK applications and changed it to the
Raleigh theme.

Does removing .gtkrc-2.0 fix the problem (hint: don't remove it, rename
it so that you can restore it later on if it makes no difference ) ?
