Public bug reported: Hello,
To crash eclipse, all I have to do is: 1. Start eclipse ("eclipse" from the terminal) 2. Open the "New Project" dialog, by clicking file->new->project 3. Press Esc. Eclipse crashes, and I get this message: (eclipse:7374): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x0066b856, pid=7374, tid=3077469888 # # JRE version: 6.0-b16 # Java VM: OpenJDK Client VM (14.0-b16 mixed mode, sharing linux-x86 ) # Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10, package 6b16-1.6.1-3ubuntu1 # Problematic frame: # C [libpango-1.0.so.0+0x23856] pango_layout_new+0x36 # # An error report file with more information is saved as: # /home/noam/hs_err_pid7374.log # # If you would like to submit a bug report, please include # instructions how to reproduce the bug and visit: # https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/ # The crash happened outside the Java Virtual Machine in native code. # See problematic frame for where to report the bug. # Aborted (The warning line appears during eclipse startup, so it's probably irrelevant.) The error file is attached. I'm using ubuntu 9.10, eclipse 3.5.1+repack~1-0ubuntu3.
