I tried printing 3 copies of an email in evolution and I experienced the
same problem - the third copy is blank. Perhaps this is a more generic
problem. I also tried gedit and see the problem there too.

I am reopening this bug as I am seeing this problem on ubuntu 8.10 i386
If I attempt to print 2 copies of a document, it prints two copies and the
third and subsequent copies come out as blank pages. Printer is a samsung

I've tried on Ubuntu 8.0.4 LTS AMD64 on LaserJet 2605dn and I could print 4
copies fine.
Is printing fine from FireFox or Text Editor?
How about Spreadsheet or Presentation?

The bug still is present in Gutsy 7.10! Printing multiple copies is only
possible via 'system-administration-printing' menu. It prints the number
set there, regardless of the number set in the printingmenu showed from
the 'file-print'-dialog opened from the openoffice.org menu!

should be fixed in feisty (OOo 2.2.0); please reopen if you still can
reproduce that. won't be fixed for dapper

Unable to print multiple copies of a document
This is occurring for me with Edgy. It seems to happen with my HP
LaserJet 1200. I'm running CUPS 1.2.4-2ubuntu3 and OO.o 2.0.4-0ubuntu2.
And the printer def from printers.conf:
Printer LaserJet-1200
Info
Location
DeviceURI usb://HP/LaserJet%201200
State Idle
StateTime 1162346315
Accepting Yes
Oh, and that log shows me printing the same doc 7 more times after the
initial job refused to print 8 copies as I requested.
