I can confirm this bug occurring on my system to - exactly as described.
I'm puzzled by the report that it's a duplicate of bug #49299 though, as
this bug (at first glance) seems unrelated.
It occurred during a dist-upgrade via synaptic on a Breezy in

This should get higher priority -- it breaks the update for many users!
Workaround from 3ngineer on forum.ubuntu-nl.org:
sudo rm /usr/bin/ldd
sudo apt-get upgrade -f
Please note that this workaround worked for 3ngineer but may possibly not work
