I went back on grub (which de-install grub2) and everything works well.

I have the same problem on Motherboard Zotac IONITX
I'm booting on a USB-Flash.
after selecting the kernel (or auto selected after countdown) system freeze for
near 1 minute before loading kernel.
My flashdrive is formated in ext4 on a logical drive.
It's also a fresh install of Karmic.
