Yes, in confirm that now it athenticates with domain username and password.
There are other bugs, but i will create new one.

Just tested the 5.4.0.42111-1~ppa2~lucid packages I'm uploading the likewise
PPA later today
and this works fine. gdm logins and sudo confirmed to work.

the line
%MYDOMAIN\\domain^users ALL=(ALL) ALL
is not obligatory, but it allows the domain users to sudo.
I tried again in another lucid alpha2 installation.
Same result, i can reproduce it every time.
Which other log files can i check for investigate more ?

The sudoers files needs the format to be this (the ^ becomes an escaped space):
%MYDOMAIN\\domain\ users ALL=(ALL) ALL
When you log in through gdm, use mydomain\myuser.

But I think in general this may be a gdm issues since console logins and
ssh works properly in my experience. This still needs more
investigation.
