Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed
Where did you set the autoconnect? It is possible the add multiple
channels to autojoin in the network configuration.

I set the multiple channels (seen in the bug description) to autojoin in the
network configuration:
Xchat Network List Freenode Favorite channels
When I connect to the network, not all my favorite channels are
connected. My old workaround was to use the command above. My current
workaround is
