I can reproduce this in Lucid Lynx 10.04 alpha 2 using the attached file. Typing evince multipageessai5.ps at the command prompt produces 6 copies of the error message warning: ignoring zlib error: incorrect data check, and only the last page (with the writing page 4 of 4) is displayed, with the
