Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed
Yes I miss. But I think that wasn't just a decision of rhythmbox, but
rather of gnome. Almost all current applications use similar interface
so it'd be hard to fix that.
IMHO the button should be placed in the top of menu like in transmission.

I just subscribed to this bug, after killing rhythmbox when I actually
wanted to show it.
Do you guys miss the old functionality? In older versions rhythmbox
reappeared when you left-clicked on the icon.
