Public bug reported:
just upgraded using update-manager -d. all went fine, but on reboot (and
on every boot), I see "GRUB loading", then screen goes black, including
backlight -or maybe only backlight-
boot continues, as I see hdd led blinking. I'm able to turn off using
soft-power-button
