Can you reproduce this at all still? I believe this was fixed a few
months ago in xorg-server and this bug has fallen through the cracks so
I am marking it as fix released, but please change it back to confirmed
if that is not the case!

Actually, I think my getting thrown out of KDM was caused by me
accidentally hitting ALT+n (console login) instead of ALT+m when trying
to activate the KDM menu.
