The last major update seems to have fixed the problem on both my desktop and laptop. The clock is advancing normally on both. I have marked the bug as 'invalid', as there is no 'fixed' option to choose from. If the bug reappears, I'll reopen the issue. ** Changed in: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)

This bug has NOT gone away in -15 as I had hoped. I do not sit at the computer all day as consequently miss notifications of tasks and appointments as the applet is not there. Ditto for things like apport. Would someone at least acknowledge that I have a confirmed (2 separate computers) bug? --
