This bug is solved in Debian version 1.8-26 I just uploaded to unstable.
It should be solved in Ubuntu 8.10

plucker-build : --filter option not working
I have a new package here I am working on (v1.9). I have gotten it to
build and the --filter is now fixed upstream. We need to get a couple of
new libs packaged and pushed into Debian first, this will be fixed for
Gutsy, with the previous releases receiving backports in due time.

I have capacity for this. It won't hurt me if I must debootstrap and chroot

Spider.py move from /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/PyPlucker/ to
/usr/share/pycentral/plucker/site-packages/PyPlucker/
The patch is still good.
