tentatively setting it to Fix Released based on your comment that this
should have been resolved upstream and since we've rebased recently with
upstream this should be resolved for Ubuntu as well. Thanks.

The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
I believe this issue has been resolved in upstream kernels for about two
years. I no longer use Ubuntu, or that iPod, or any Firewire devices, so
I'm afraid I can't easily check.

The Numlock and Capslock keys also cease to change the state of the keyboard
LEDs after the lockup.
