The bug is invalid for lucid. And bug reports implicitly target the current
development release.
I don't think this bug qualifies for an SRU (update in karmic-updates). What
you may want to try is to request a backport (in karmic-backports). In this
case, please follow the appropriate process.
This bug was fixed in a more recent upstream version. Can't reproduce in
lucid.

Hi Adrien,
Since this upstream version has not been backported to 9.10, the bug is still
valid - in 9.10.
Jaunty has an 18 month support life - and is still the current stable release.
I can't work out how you can justify setting the status invalid.
