to feisty? I'm swamped with universe and multiverse unfortunally :-/.

I did gksudo update-manager -c -d and that did work. You might need to
press the check button before the upgrade message appears.

i am able to confirm this as i have tried 5 different times and it never
gives updates for edgy just updates that are for dapper if any.
