same problem after a fresh install of 11.04 64bit, wireless is
practically unusable

I have Asus EEE 1005P netbook with ubuntu UNR 10.04 2.6.32-22 generic with
Atheris AR9285 wireless chip using the ath9k driver
I can use my wireless with a WPA (16 byte password).
However when I used a 64 byte hex password the system drops the connection
every second.

It have started since I've installed Ubuntu

I have ACER Aspire 3680-2682 laptop with Atheros 5007EG Wi-Fi adapter.
After short time of work it disconnects from W-Fi network.
What is worst, it does not connect back automatically.
In 9.04 and 9.10 after disconnect, it starts connecting automatically.

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the

After installung and using wicd, giving me a mostly stable connection,
it occurs to me that this may be a bug in network-manager, not in the
kernel. Thus, I marked network-manager as also affected.
I'm running network-manager{,-gnome} 0.8-0ubuntu2.
