After installung and using wicd, giving me a mostly stable connection, it occurs to me that this may be a bug in network-manager, not in the kernel. Thus, I marked network-manager as also affected. I'm running network-manager{,-gnome} 0.8-0ubuntu2. -- No stable wireless connections
