I was using old 2.6.30 kernel instead of ≥2.6.31 where I have PPP performance problems at my hardware (Intel P35 chipset, Intel e1000e ethernet controller) but there was no sound with default udev options and I need to override default settings with ones given at ubuntu forums: http://ubuntuforums.
