Seen Problem: On every startup of a VM on the Host the MAC-Address of
eth0 (br0) is changed to a new, wol is possible to send on the new mac.
But perhaps mac cache of switches makes trouble too?
Best solution install a second NIC Card only for Admin-Access and WOL

same problem on a fresh installed Server ubuntu 10.10 with qemu+bridge-
utils last kernel of server edition.
- i edit /etc/init.d/halt and set NIC-Shutdown to "no"
- i set /etc/rc.local -s eth0 wol g
but after shutdown no wol works..
