There is also a 4th category which belongs to laptops with a removable floppy drive. I agree that this bug is far from solved. My workaround is to regress to udisks 1.0.1-1build1 and disable the floppy controller when the drive is removed. This should not have to be done. I appreciate the

For those of us who actually use floppies this fix is a regression. The fix to the fix, I found was to make the floppy work was to force the 1.0.1-1build1 version of udisks. Then the floppy works. There is no hang because it finds the floppy. The trouble is every time there is an update one has
