after last updates it seems to work again. I have the impression this is not related to packages update but to some other configuration issue. Now it seems that everything's working again as expected, though I haven't done anything special. Could you please help me investigating this issue? **

It seems to be related to Windows7 wrong driver behaviour... I have a windows7 in dual boot with ubuntu... volume keys issue seems to occur only after a driver crash in Windows7 (which does not support the cine- dash properly)... Indeed if I reboot windows7 and I avoid to perform any action (so
