Doesn't the GNOME sound preferences menu and Output tab offer an Analog Speakers selection in the Connector dropdown? Yes it now has an Analog Speakers section it didn't use to have. Before it was only Analog Output and Analog Speakers. Now I see this when I open the preferences, and it does
