Captain Chaos, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/cu
The same is going on in Maverick ever since I've installed it. I have a
Nvidia GeForce 9600M.

Also, this is affecting me in the final release of 10.4, not a beta or
an upgraded version. This was a clean install of 10.4 after release.

Upon install, Ubuntu loaded this driver incorrectly. I have several
screenshots. The problem went away after installing proprietary nvidia
drivers and rebooting.
