Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ia32-libs
I have the nvidia-current package installed. If I want to start amarok I get the following error message: $ amarok amarok: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1: undefined symbol: _nv000025gl $ ls -la /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 2010-03-30 12:11 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.185.18.36 if I change the link to $ ls -la /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 2010-03-30 12:21 /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 -> nvidia-current/libGL.so.1 everything works again. HOWEVER, after rebooting my computer, the link get's restored to the libGL.so.185.18.36 file. ** Affects: nvidia-drivers-ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ia32-libs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: nvidia-drivers-ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- libGL.so.1 is linked to wrong nvidia driver version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/551567 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
