problem has been fixed in software-center version 2.0.2. This bug report
is being closed due to your comment #9 regarding this being fixed with
an update. For future reference you can manage the status of your own

Luis, brian, could you please try to reproduce with the latest version of
software-center.
If it's reproducible with the latest version in Lucid, then provide the output
of the following commands:
$ apt-cache policy software-center
$ ls /var/lib/apt/lists/*Translation*

$ LANG=C software-center
I don't have this problem on neither LANG=C, nor ro_Ro (Romanian).
