I tried to edit some tags here under Ubuntu Maverick and works fine for
me, maybe idtag library is already fixed in this release. Please could
you check if this behaviour works fine for you with latest release
included in Maverick? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem.
I'm running Rhythmbox 0.12.8 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
I found out that if I select multiple tracks at the same time to try to modify
its properties, it does nothing and shows the same error as above mentioned;
but if I only select one track at a time, it still shows the

I am still facing the same issue. Infact when i tag it doesnt get saved.
I have attached 2 screenshots and the log file. Also am unable to close
the error.

please run rhythmbox as: rhythmbox --debug rhythmbox-debug.txt ;
perform the steps to reproduce the bug and attach that resulting log
