thanks both for the report. A new xubuntu-system-tools package is uploaded and
synced with the new gnome-system-tools and this issue should be solved
in Knot 2 when it's out.
It's a new codebase so there are some new bugs but now the tools start at least
:)

Just want to confirm exactly the same issue here.
-Upgraded to Edgy from Dapper (on the fresh install of Xubuntu-Dapper)
-Password is not accepted only by xubuntu-system-tools --> attached screenshot
taken after calling network-admin from the terminal.
-Everything despite this works fine.
