Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mldonkey-server

Installed as a daemon with aptitude.

When trying to start for the first time (while configuring the package),
"install: unknown option "-f" is displayed, installation is aborted
then.

I found the following line in /etc/init.d/mldonkey-server, which is new
to me:

   install -o mldonkey -g mldoney -m 755 -f $PIDFILE

I believe, this should avoid the problems with the newer "varrun"-files,
which couldn't be created otherwise?

Anyway, there are two bugs - the GROUP-parameter has to be "mldonkey",
too (just a typo) and instead of "-f" it should be "-d"?

** Affects: mldonkey (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
