I can confirm this even in Kubuntu 6.10, fully updated to KDE 3.5.6.
I tried to install a package from /home/nrg88/media1/Kitt Linux and
other/Basket Note Pads via the Kubuntu Package Menu in Konqueror, hitting
right click.
I get:
dpkg: error processing /home/nrg88/media1/Kitt (--install):
This is probably a bug in some wrapper program but I'll try to find out
which one. It's far from clear that we ought to go around installing
packages with double-clicks anyway!
