google earth does not render any zoom level with ATI Radeon Xpress 200M video
graphics adaptor
Hi everyone,
I happen to have the same exact problem with a radeon XPRESS 200M 5955, also on
a presario V2000 notebook.
I tried compiling the latest xserver-xorg-ati from git, but it didn't solve the
issue...
Apparently this is KMS-related, I haven't tried disabling it yet.
I'm also reporting,
Hello,
I have the same problems with google earth. But no problems with youtube
videos after clearing my firefox settings (deleting .mozilla directory
in my home folder).

I just want to emphasize that all graphics rendering worked well under

Hi Robert,
This bug was reported against an earlier version of Ubuntu, can you
test if it still occurs on Lucid?
Please note we also provide technical support for older versions of
Ubuntu, but not in the bug tracker. Instead, to raise the issue through
Yes, it is only apparent with 10.04. I did not see this behavior with
9.04. I think it may be a new bug or something specific to 10.04.
