Still a problem in Kubuntu Maverick - because OpenOffice doesn't display
a nice error message and you have to watch for these errors in
.xsession-errors:
(openoffice.org:11583): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set:
assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

it did not for me. But deleting my ~/.gstreamer-10.0 folder actually
fixed this.

gstreamer0.10-plugins-base, gstreamer0.10-plugins-good, gstreamer0.10
-plugins-ugly, gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
If so then we probably need integration with KDE's media subsystem or
else have to install
