Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

In OpenOffice Calc, various pop-up dialog boxes are displayed as an empty frame
with no contents.
This happens with the "Insert Sheet...", "Rename Sheet...", "Move/Copy
Sheet..." dialogs from the pop-up menu obtained by right-clicking the tab where
the sheet's name appears.
It also happens with the "Zoom & View Layout" dialog from the "View -> Zoom..."
menu, and furthermore this is also the case with this dialog in the OpenOffice
Presentation and Writer applications.
This only happens with some dialog boxes, while others appear to be displayed
correctly.

In all cases it is possible to display the missing contents of the
dialog box by performing a "shade" and then "unshade" (or similarly a
"maximise"/"unmaximise") from the corresponding buttons on the dialog
windows title bar.

The problem has also been re-created on a second machine (also running
the same versions, Xubuntu v10.04 and OpenOffice3.2.0). Both machines
have the NVidia proprietary driver, but when this driver is deactivated
the problem still persists.
