toolchain has not been extensively tested for that.
Personally I'm not convinced that crash on close is truly SRU worthy.

Yes, crashes are bad, but balance a crash on exit versus the risk associated
with fielding change in a released distribution. I'm certainly not the final
authority, but I don't think it makes sense.
