On Lubuntu 10.04, when i use aqualung, it crashes 2 seconds after the
begining of any song
But If i compile my self the same version of aqualung (R 1114) there is
no more crash

Can someone test with the package in my PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~gilir/+archive/updates) and report if the bug is fixed ?
Also, this crash should happen only with French locale.

Just one thing : When you extract a cd, you can't choose mp3 format for the
destination. (libmp3lame0 is installed)
If you compile aqualung with libmp3lame-dev installed it works.

As i see from sylv1pdt, ... SSE2 detected, could it be a problem with this
package and the non sse2 processor

aqualung crashes after 2s of playing on a fresh install of lubuntu, xubuntu
aqualung's compilation (R1114) was successfull and now aqualung runs
fine.
