The bug persists in the daily build of Maverick. Actually it manifests itself the way as in Lucid. By unplugging the power cord, even with full battery, the system accuses that only 4 minutes of battery time remain (with 98% of charge). -- batery life too short on Vaio NR

Hello Jeremy, Yes, this is still an issue. Actually I think it got worst with the update to Lucid. I'm running an up-to-date version of 10.04 now. Now, when I remove the plug, instantaneously I get a message that I have 2 minutes of battery life and warnings about the machine shutting down.
