Can you still reproduce this by disabling compiz, unplugging your external monitor, and not using suspend/hibernate? Also, I noticed in your logs that the intel driver fails while you're running VirtualBox. Are you running Lucid in a VM? Can you reproduce this when you're not using VirtualBox? **
