I have used the proposed eglibc for some three weeks on amd64 with no
noticeable difference. I think this has spent enough time in proposed
now.

running the testsuite on a machine using SSE4
What's the rationale for SRUing this?
enabling a processor specific optimization. at upload time during the feature
freeze it was found appropriate by the release team to delay this to
lucid-updates.
