I have reproduced the problem with unattended-upgrades 0.55ubuntu4 in
lucid-updates and have verified that the version of unattended-upgrades
0.55ubuntu5 in -proposed fixes the issue.

+ 1. install lucid
+ 2. run sudo apt-get update
+ 3. run sudo ifconfig eth0 down (or wlan0 down if on wlan)
+ 4. run sudo unattended-upgrades
+ 5. verify that it fails and errors with AttributeError:
'apt_pkg.AcquireItem' object has no attribute 'DescURI'

It seem like when it attempt to run there is no network connection or
the source is not available.
