Public bug reported: Binary package hint: roundcube
When you install the roundcube metapackage, by default it install roundcube-sqlite. This is fine, except the package configuration still asks for and creates a MySQL database. The roundcube metapackage either needs to install roundcube-mysql by default, or not create a MySQL database. This is especially confusing when you intend to install roundcube-mysql. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release: 10.04 $ apt-cache policy roundcube roundcube: Installed: 0.3.1-3 Candidate: 0.3.1-3 Version table: *** 0.3.1-3 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status $ apt-cache policy roundcube-sqlite roundcube-sqlite: Installed: 0.3.1-3 Candidate: 0.3.1-3 Version table: *** 0.3.1-3 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: roundcube (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- roundcube assumes mysql during configuration https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/595356 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
