The KDE service for wacom tablets (kde-config-tablet/kcm-tablet) crashes kded and kdeinit4 (e.g. at login or whenever you activate the service). Only solution is to disable the Wacom Tablet service permanently. ** Changed in: kdebase (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid ** Also affects:

To add some more information to this problem: *) It occurs with a newly created user too, so it shouldn't be some old settings *) When I start a different desktop environment (LXDE in this case) and open some KDE-applications (e.g. kmail), then kded and kdeinit start without any problem. --
