Have you attempted to install cdda2wav ?
I had a similar problem ran
sudo apt-get install cdda2wav
in terminal.
After installation it copied normally

The program cdrdao is provided by the package cdrdao. cdda2wav is
provided by the package icedax. Installing both packages resolved the
problem for me.
The package cdrdao is mentioned in the brasero package as a Suggest, but
the icedax dependency is completely missing. Should be fixed. Maybe both
Have same problem.
Brasero trys to install missing files automatically. Trys to find KPackageKit,
but fails with message The file could not be found in any packages. Asks
then to install manually toc2cue and cdrdao.
Expected behaviour is:
- these extra files should be installed per default,
may you please test the same with the new package that went into the
updates? version is : 2.30.2-0ubuntu1 . Thanks.

My system is in French, so this is a translation:
All the required applications and libraries are not installed. Install
manually the following software and try again:
cdda2wav (application)
cdrdao (application)
cdrdao
