White screen before Unity desktop
I'm also seeing the white screen for so many seconds with an ati radeon
hd 3200 with unity vesion 2.28. Also I'm not sure why after the white
screen unity is unbearably slow with artifacts everywhere. Not sure if
its the hardware because I'm using a desktop and not a netbook.

I'm seeing this too (but only for like a second) with a nVidia GeForce
6600 GT (NV43) and the nvidia-current BLOB (256.35).
