Hi,
I have an other problem with wx applications: audacity, filezilla,
truecrypt.
Menu file is not present since an upgrade on maverick ... I found menu
reappear when i launch these apps by typing sudo

I had the same issue with Filezilla 3.3.1 Ubuntu Package version as
well.. When opening tabs, it throws the
_ZN13wxAuiNotebook15SetSelectedFontERK6wxFont, and quits..
Since I didn't wanted to manually compile the package and break the
Synaptic Package Manager's beauty :) I used the Filezilla
the filezilla 3.3.4 from ppa:ferramroberto/linuxfreedomlucid fixed the
problem here, with libcairo2=1.9.14-1ubuntu1 and
libwxgtk2.8-0=2.8.11.0-0ubuntu3 installed.

That fix doesn't work for me, using the versions below, still get the
exact same crash as posted above in the description when opening a new
tab in filezilla.

Manually compiling the latest filezilla release
try to downgrade libcairo2 1.9.6-6 1.8.10-2. it's solve my problem
i'm using
filezilla 3.3.3

Did you recompile FileZilla after installing the third-party wx package?
If not, it will still link against old wx library.

I've got the same shell error after Ctrl + T. This bug is happenning too

The Latest 3.3.3 didn't fix it.
