Andy, as far as I'm aware, this bug is not fixed upstream (Linus mainline v2.6.37) so I see no reason that pulling this commit will fix it downstream. Unfortunately my TPM died completely so I'm unable to test on my machine (a Sony Vaio with Infineon TPM) and am relying on others to do further
