Zekr is not responding when I press the stop button during audio
playback. Package: openjdk-6-jre version 6b18-1.8.2-4ubuntu2 installed.

Sources
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
sudo apt-get install zekr
Add
sun-java6-jre is available on Canonical partner repository:
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner

It seems there is a problem with OpenJDK in 10.04, try running it with Sun Java
JRE:
1) apt-get install sun-java6-jre
2) Add the following line in ~/.zekr/zekrrc-debian:
ZEKR_JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun
