Public bug reported: Short: When installing Ubuntu 6.10 from the LiveC I told the installer to mount my 60gb windows partition in "/media/windows". After reboot my new Ubuntu system would show two mounts on the desktop: "Windows" and "Windows(2)".
More Details: I thought that this problem might have been fixed so the first thing I did was fully update my system. After installing about 350 updates I restarted the PC. I still had the same problem. I decided to unmount it and remount it, but it still did the same thing. I then proceeded to check the "/etc/fstab" config file and there is only one entry for the partition. If there is any other information that I could provide that would help fix the problem please let me know. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Mounting Bug (Ubuntu 6.10 Test 2) https://launchpad.net/bugs/60672 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
