Occurs in both Movie Player and VLC. ** Description changed: Binary package hint: pulseaudio I installed 10.04 several months ago and DVDs played fine, but a few weeks ago this problem started occuring. I can play DVDs in Movie Player and VLC, and the video and soundtrack work, but the voice track - is muted. + is muted. This only occurs with DVDs, not wmv/avi/mpg/etc media files. I'm not sure whether the bug is with Pulse Audio or ALSA so submitting both 'ubuntu-bug alsa-base' and 'ubuntu-bug pulseadio'. Will cross link them, admins can expire whichever is not correct.
